Aday trip to Vordingborg, a town with a historic ruin of a catle and the Goose tower... was great fun, the kids enjoyed the hands on wokrshop, museum where they could dress up from the middle ages, and then the knighthood school where they learnt to manage a sword... new school bags also got their first trip out !!

our holiday started in auckland, where we took in the city sights including the sky tower, the boat dry stack and 2 dance shows, 42nd street & the russian ballets. sleeping beauty... then we hired a car and drove north to russell, bay of islands and chartered a 28 foot yacht for 6 fabulous days !!! the best holiday ever ! Everyone LOVED the sailing life !

vores ferie begyndt i auckland hvor vi var turister i stor byen... vi var i teater for at se 42nd street musical og den russiske ballet som dansede " tornerose" . Saa lejede vi en bil og korte nordpaa til " Bay of Islands " hvor vi lejede en 28 fods sejlbaade og sejlede i 6 pragtfulde dage !!! Haaber i nyder billederne!!

here is Lalandia water park taken from the slide side... the big structure is called the Tornado... you sit in a blow up rath with up to 4 people all facing un and fly down that tube into a torando of water that swishes you from one side to the other...at an alarming speed..... everyone but maya tried it...Laura could NOT get enough of it....

on the way to the other die of Denmark, the mainland of Jutland. Here driving over one of the bigggest bridges in the world, 16kms long linking Sjælland and Fynen Islands. Remember sailing under this structure dad?

here are the houses we rented at Lalandia Waterworld. We had 2 houses joined together with Rie's Family and managed to get snowed in and had to stay an extra day and night...

where there are christmas decorations everywhere

on the walking street ( Strøget) in Copenhagen, full of people and life and street performers

here having dinner overlooking the lake where there are little boats with a lit up sial you can drive... the entire park is lit up in lights, entire trees with fgairy lights in every branch.. it is a sight to see !!

sorting out the xmas calender of gifts with Farmor. there are 24 small gifts wrapped and hung in our house, and each morning the girls have to take turns at opening one of them...

laura and thea have been going to work with farmor in her little antik shop in town . when it was lauraøs turn the hairdresser lady came in and asked if she would like to have her hair curled, so she came back from town looking pretty flash !
